Welcome to the Junkyard 2 takes over Antone’s Nightclub this Thursday, May 28th, featuring live performances by David Ramirez, The Point., and Garrett T. Capps alongside art installations and local food trucks.
This special benefit concert is presented by Junkyard ATX, a local nonprofit dedicated to preserving Austin’s music scene by converting retired public city buses into mobile, soundproof rehearsal spaces. Every ticket purchased directly funds these “Junkpods,” which provide completely free creative studio space to working Austin musicians registered with the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM).
