Dragon Boat Festival @ Festival Beach on Lady Bird Lake – Saturday 4/25

The ATX Dragon Boat Festival takes over Lady Bird Lake with high-energy boat races, cultural performances, and great food, celebrating Asian and Pacific Islander heritage right here in Austin. It’s free, family-friendly, and one of the most unique events you’ll see all year.

FAMILY EVENT: 18th Annual Sunset Valley Artfest

The 18th Annual Sunset Valley ARTFEST, is a free, one-day outdoor festival celebrating art, music, and community.

The event features over 120 artisans showcasing handmade works including paintings, sculpture, jewelry, glass, wood, and metal art. Guests can enjoy live music from Austin-area performers on the Main Stage, a variety of local food trucks, and a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere.

There will also be a dedicated kids’ area and Adventure Build, an interactive experience where children can paint, play with tools, and create their own projects.

With more than 8,000 attendees each year, ARTFEST is one of the area’s most anticipated spring events.
