Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19th, marks the day in 1865 when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas finally learned they were free—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It’s a powerful reminder of resilience and a celebration of Black freedom, culture, and progress in America.

Kinda Tropical Doggy Fashion Show – Sunday 6/22 at Kinda Tropical
On June 22, Kinda Tropical is gonna get kinda canine at noon! AJK Family Rescue’s Sip, Sit, Stay will turn the whole place into a doggy runway!
Live music will keep things buzzing, and a temporary tattoo station will offer ink and a shot to win some merch!
