Tonight Hayes Carrll’s Grateful for Christmas Tour at the Paramount Theater. Maggie Rose will be supporting the evening.  Doors at 7 Show at 8. 

Friday 12/12 Los Coast at C-Boys on South Congress. American Soul group led by Trey Privott. Based here in Austin the group brings a free show tomorrow night at 6:30. 21 plus and no cover. 

Friday 12/12  90’s alt rock legendary band The Lemonheads play the Mohawk on Red River. Front man Evan Dando brings his signature Boston band to Austin on the heels of his latest October album release. New records also feature long time friend Juliana Hatfield and J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr. 

Saturday 12/13 is Billy Strings at the Moody CenterAmerican bluegrass guitarist, singer, and songwriter who blends bluegrass with elements of rock, metal, and psychedelia. ACL Festival last year and just seems to be on a rocket ship.

Texas Volleyball hosting at the Greg

Number one seed Horns stay at home after their first and second round dominant wins last week. 

Horns play #15 Indiana on Friday the 12th at 11 AM. The winner of that match will take on the winner of #5 Stanford and #10  Wisconsin.

Armadillo Christmas Bazaar kicks off on Saturday

This December marks the 50th season of the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar, one of Austin’s most beloved and longest-running holiday traditions. Taking place Saturday, Dec. 13 – Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025, at the Palmer Events Center (900 Barton Springs Road) the Armadillo returns as a must-visit destination honoring Austin’s music, art, and counterculture.

37TH Street Lights Kicks off on Friday night 

You may be looking to celebrate a huge volleyball win and want to stay in the holiday spirit.  Go take a walk down 37th street it is now a no car allowed tour. so find some adjacent parking or ride share to Guadalupe and 37th to walk the eclectic collection of curated lights in this long time Austin tradition!

Trail of Lights at Zilker Park

Free Night at Trail of Lights is this Monday !

The 61st annual Austin Trail of Lights in Zilker Park is our city’s longest running holiday event showcasing more than 2 million lights, 96 lighted holiday trees and 70 displays and tunnels.

Pass through the iconic entry tunnel, grab a bite from one of Austin’s best food trucks or cocoa,  take free photos with Santa,  Roast s’mores at different stops along the Trail, and so much more!
