The producer and guitarist has been a linchpin of the local music scene since first anchoring in Austin in 1985, and the guests gathering to celebrate Brotherton and fundraise for his anticipated care are testament to the artists he has inspired. Saturday December 6th: Trail of Lights Fun Run
The 61st Annual Austin Trail of Lights Fun Run, presented by Raising Cane’s, returns December 6 with a refreshed 2-mile, untimed course starting at the Zilker Holiday Tree and weaving through the Trail for an early look at 2025 attractions. Runners and walkers of all ages can register in advance for timed waves at 6 p.m., 6:15 p.m., and 7 p.m. Registration includes a commemorative long-sleeve shirt, race bib, cocoa or beer, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and access to the Finish Line Festival with rides, food trucks, bars, and a DJ.
Saturday, December 6th: MEET SANTA ON THE TRAIL
Start your holiday celebrations out on the Trail! Santa’s making a pitstop at the Holly Fishing Pier before heading up to the North Pole!
