So far this week on the Ed Clements and Jeff Ward Show:
MONDAY 6-16
We are back for another week of the show as we dive into the NIL drama with universities paying their athletes directly, the brave man who loves to get bitten by snakes, and we read some of your tweets.
In hour two we talk about Rory McIlroy vs. the media, some interesting college football betting questions, and Pablo Torre has the inside scoop on the Bill Belichick/Jordon Hudson relationship.
TUESDAY 6-17
On this Hot Take Tuesday, we “celebrate” the anniversary of the OJ Simpson car chase, we argue about the 100 men vs. silverback gorilla debate, and the Houston vs. Austin debate.
In hour two, we read a really bad list of the best players in the NFL, the worst college baseball game that we have ever watched, our Willie Nelson stories, and the new, yet creepy, Lie Detector Show.
WEDNESDAY 6-18
On the last day for Garrett as the producer for the show, Jeff bashes Waco one more time, Jordon Hudson’s ridiculous tweet, the new ownership for the Lakers, and the best records in college football.
In hour two, we talk about the reality regarding the Steelers making the Super Bowl, Jeff tries to eat a donut, but couldn’t do it, and the NFL All-Century team.
THURSDAY 6-19
It’s a new era as Garrett is no longer the producer. But nevertheless, the show must go on as Kyle takes over. In the opening hour of today’s show, Jeff and Ed talk about who’s buying hooters, the sale of the Lakers, NIL, and what’s up with Shedeur Sanders.
In the second hour of the Thursday edition of the show, Jeff and Ed talk about game six of the NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers, they rank the top QBs in the upcoming NFL season, and discuss obscure and funny mascot names.
